Science Movie Night

Science Movie Night

Join us on the first Tuesday of each month for a FREE movie screening and learn about the science behind the movies! Experts will be on hand to discuss the science (or lack there of) in each movie. Movies are screened at the Downtown City Library and begin at 6:30 pm. Click the link above for a listing of upcoming movies.

Scientist in the Spotlight

What’s it really like to be a scientist? Find out with Scientist in the Spotlight at the Utah Museum of Natural History. Meet local researchers and explore current science through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Fun for adults and children!

Overnight at the Museum

Overnight at the Museum

We offer private group overnights! Call us and book a private experience at the Utah Museum of Natural History after dark! We'll create hands-on science activities and crafts and a flashlight treasure hunt for your group. Plus, sleep beneath the dinosaurs! Kids and adults will have an unforgettable overnight adventure. One adult chaperone is required for every 5 children. Age ranges vary.

Free Family Mondays

On the first Monday of every month, UMNH offers extended hours until 8:00 p.m. and is open for FREE thanks to funding from the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks Fund.
