Free Family Mondays

First Monday: Late Hours and Free Admission

On the first Monday of every month, the Museum stays open until 8:00 p.m. and offers free admission!

Free Family Mondays are our "thank you" to Salt Lake County voters for support of the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks Fund.

Parking on Free Family Mondays.

Phun with Physics What do balloons, bicycle wheels and liquid nitrogen have in common?  Find out with Tori Spratling and Patrick Wiggins, University of Utah Department of Physics demonstrators.  These energetic physics demonstrations reveal science at work for both kids and adults!

Runs 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Museum Lobby.

UMNH will be open 9:30 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. on Labor Day to offer a final chance to visit Toadally Frogs for free.  The galleries will be crowded, so plan accordingly!
