Join a dynamic group of leaders who work with UMNH curators and specialists in the field to acquire collections of cultural and historical significance for the Museum's permanent collection.

Collectors Council is currently focused on the Museum's ethnographic collection in anticipation of the Native Voices gallery being designed for the new Museum. "CoCo" members are involved in making the new Museum possible.

In addition to UMNH member benefits, Collectors Council members are offered a range of educational and social events throughout the year. CoCo members have the opportunity to meet other interested collectors, learn more about the Museum's selection and acquisition process, and enhance their understanding of Utah's incomparable natural and cultural wonders.

Collectors Council member contributions include a UMNH Family Membership ($55) with the balance going toward the Collectors Council Acquisition Fund. Members join at various levels:

  • Membership $500
  • Benefactor $1,000
  • Curator's Circle $2,500
  • Directors' Circle $5,000

 

All Collectors Council Members receive:

  • UMNH Family Membership benefits
  • UMNH Patron premiums
  • Invitation to educational events with UMNH curators and specialists
  • Curator's Note educational mailing
  • Recognition throughout the Museum and UMNH publications

Collectors Council contributions count toward the University of Utah President's Club.
