Rent The Museum
The Utah Museum of Natural History is located at the heart of the University of Utah Campus and provides a unique setting for any gathering or reception. Your guests will have an opportunity to socialize surrounded by a backdrop of Utah ’s cultural and natural history.
After normal Museum hours, the entire Museum can be rented for $1,400.
This includes two security guards for 4 hours and custodial clean-up after the event. The museum is able to accommodate standing receptions for up to 900 people.

- Docents (trained volunteers to interpret exhibits and answer questions) are available for $20 per hour.
- Tables and chairs provided for seating up to 75. For more than 75, tables and chairs are available to rent.
- Parking - various options are available depending on day of week and time. Please inquire about these options as soon as possible as they may affect your booking.
- Museum staff can arrange catering for a 15% surcharge of catering bill.
- Audio/Visual equipment rental - Various options are available, please inquire.
