UMNH Volunteer Program

Currently Seeking Volunteers

Volunteers support the programs of UMNH through hundreds of thousands of hours every year.  Check out ways that you can be a part of the Museum's work and mission.

UMNH Volunteer Benefits:  Volunteers receive many benefits for the time that they give to the Museum.

Fossil Preparator in Paleontology

Fossil Preparators prepare fossils in the Museum's Paelontology Lab using techniques learned in the mandatory 15 hour training.  Training is held twice a year in the late fall and late spring.  Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator if you would like to be contact about the next raining to be held in the late Fall 2009.
